We are thrilled to present our upcoming Maastricht sale, scheduled for September 29 following the conclusion of the MIF Paper Money Show in Maastricht. This auction boasts a remarkable array of offerings, showcasing a variety of exceptional pieces.

Lot 50027 presents an About Uncirculated 53 graded 1955 issued 500 Francs, a finely preserved example. Featuring prominently is lot 50055, an exceptional Burma KGV 1000 Rupees, our first time offering such a rarity. Lot 50067, an impeccable Bank of Canada 1937 1000 Dollar note, bears a grade of Gem 66 EPQ, while lot 50125 offers the Deutsch-Asiatische Bank HANKOW 1907 5 Dollar treasure in PMG 65 EPQ.

Enthusiasts of Ethiopian currency will note lot 50167, a Serial number 3 1932 500 Thalers, the lowest recorded serial number for this type. Lot 50231 features a true highlight—a stunning Calcutta 1900 1000 Rupees, Pick A19b. Lot 50247 offers an extremely sought-after proof—an opportunity to acquire a 5 Sicca Rupees note from the Commercial Bank in Calcutta.

The Suriname section of the catalog features notable treasures, including the 1844 15 Centen note from the West-Indische Bank (lot 50442). This segment also encompasses a collection of rare early 1900s Suriname notes, never before offered in our extensive history.

Enthusiasts of Netherlands Indies notes will find a compelling range organized by date, providing a prime chance for collectors to enrich their collections. The auction extends its reach to encompass Europe, with highlights spanning Denmark, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden.
