High Grade Federal Type Notes Highlight This Week’s Stack’s Bowers Galleries Currency iAuction

Choice and Gem Uncirculated large size Federal type notes stand out in this week’s Stack’s Bowers Galleries Currency iAuction. This week’s auction features 81 lots of Colonial, Confederate, Large and Small Size Type, and National Currency.

A few of the high grade notes up for grabs this week include Lot 21328, a Fr. 230 1899 $1 Silver Certificate graded Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ by PMG. The well centered and vibrant note carries an estimate of $800 to $1,200.

Lot 21332 is a Fr. 237 1923 $1 Silver Certificate PMG graded Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ with terrific centering and registration estimated at $250 to $350.

A popular "Green Eagle" Fr. 717 1918 $1 Federal Reserve Bank Note from the Philadelphia District and graded PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ is found in Lot 21345. The well printed and boldly designed note is estimated at $800 to $1,000.

A brilliant orange back print and flawless paper quality are qualities of the Fr. 1187 1922 $20 Gold Certificate graded Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ by PMG. The beautiful gold note carries an estimate of $1,500 to $2.000.
