Stack’s Bowers Galleries is happy to announce the launching of a new homepage. To continue to best serve our customers, we have implemented changes to our online presence that should assist in navigation and ease of use, as well as improving systems for contacting us and finding relevant information. To help our users transition to our improved website, we want to share some tips and tricks that can be found on the new homepage.
-
Never miss another auction. Our new homepage ticker allows users to see which auctions begin soonest. Each auction category on our homepage ticker links to the sale itself. Three auctions are loaded into the ticker at a time. When a sale has begun, our ticker will display "LIVE!".
-
We want our valued clients to have the information they need, when they want it. We created a Knowledge and Resource Center at the top of the page, just underneath the Menu buttons. This Knowledge and Resource Center will provide information on Selling at Auction, Estate Planning, Appraisals, and a list of Glossary Terms. We have also included a link to our FAQs page that answers nearly every question about our website, auctions, consignments, taxes, shipping, and payments.
-
Our new Search Bar in the main menu will allow users to search upcoming auctions. Please note that this feature only searches UPCOMING sales. Historical data will still be found in our Auction Archives.
-
Need help with a consignment? Want to talk about a specific item? We now have a convenient Contact Form at the top of the homepage. Simply fill out the form and click "Submit." Photos can also be uploaded for our experts to see.
-
Users can choose how they want to view lots. Some users want to view all of the world coins, while others may want to view a specific catalog. In the upper section, "Browse Upcoming Auction Lots by Category," users can navigate through specific types of items. When users click "World Coins" it shows every world coin currently for sale. In the lower section, "Browse Upcoming Auction Lots by Session," users can view individual Sessions of a sale. This is handy when there is a Signature Auction – for example The Joel R. Anderson Collection.
-
At the bottom of the page there is a link to all of our Social Media. As always, don’t forget to follow us to keep up with the daily happenings at Stack’s Bowers Galleries.
As our website is ever-changing, there may be minor issues that arise without our knowledge. If you notice a broken link, see an area that is not displaying properly, or have any other homepage related issues, please email bmahaffey@stacksbowers.com. If possible, please include a screenshot of what you see to help us remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
