Our upcoming
World Paper Money Collectors Choice Online sale is just around the corner in
October. These auctions help collectors fill gaps in their collections,
offering sound material under the $4,000 threshold. The majority of these
pieces are certified, and open at a conservative price point. Already, we have
a few a few important highlights to mention.
The first is a
British Administration Straits Settlement 10 Dollar 1932 note. This is the
second date for the type. Printed by BWC. Nearly original, save for some toning
and few small pin-size dots on the reverse. Excellent impressions, and
certainly a tough find at that level free of any negative comments.
Another special
note is a 1935 Bank of Canada 100 Dollar note in Choice Fine 15 condition.
English Text. A strong CBNC Choice Fine example, likely docked for the handling
at far right. Overall the important devices are all still very nice. This note
is missing from many Canadian collections outside of damaged condition.
We are nearing
the deadline for consignments to this sale. To consign, please contact Aris@StacksBowers.Com. To register to bid,
