The
World Paper Money Collectors Choice Online Auction is available for viewing and
pre-bidding at StacksBowers.com. The sale will begin on Tuesday, October 16 at
Noon Eastern Time (9 AM PT). The sale will feature 272 lots representing countries
from all over the world.
Highlights
include a 2007 Bermuda 2 Dollar note offered in lot 70035. Some notable Canadian
pieces can be found in lot 70055, a BC-15 1935 100 Dollar note, and lot 70057, a
Dominion of Canada 4 Dollar note. A gorgeous colored Guatemala 100 Pesos in a PMG
VF 25 holder is featured in lot 70124.
One of
the highlights in this sale is certainly the Robin’s Nest Guernsey 10 Shillings
in fully original condition which can be found in lot 70127.
Additionally,
an exceptional group of ANGLO-PALESTINE Bank, and other Israeli pieces in high
grade are being offered in lots 70146 through 70157. A rare Philippines 1 Peso
from 1899 is presented in lot 70199.
Toward
the end of the auction will be found some nice pieces from Portugal and
Suriname. Overall, this should be a collector driven sale with many pieces opening
