Last week, we were happy to be back at the Long Beach Expo! Normally one would expect the rain to keep people from venturing out to a coin show, but I think the rain had the opposite effect on Thursday’s events. The bourse floor was very busy on the first day the public was allowed into the show.
As soon as collectors walked into the show, we had a great presentation on display of items from the upcoming Trial of the Pyx sale, millions of dollars in rarities from our Spring 2024 Expo Auction, and Indian Peace medals from the Ronald A. Slovick Collection also featured in our spring auction. A new tradition here at Stack’s Bowers Galleries is to bring ALL new employees to the shows, giving the staff from all our departments the coin show experience. Whether they work in Accounting, Client Services, or Shipping they all get to see first hand this large and important aspect of our business.
