In this week’s video Aris Maragoudakis discusses the finest PMG graded Portuguese India P-23A note being offered in Lot 10760 of our September 27 Hong Kong auction of Asian and World paper money.
This note, graded About Uncirculated 58 EPQ by PMG features a snarling tiger at center with ornate columns on both sides, and sunburst designs behind "1" counters at left and right. The reverse displays the Jagannath Temple at center with ornate lathe work comprising the flanking ornate guilloches. The very appealing note offers excellent color and fully original paper. Out of 31 notes graded for the variety at PMG, this note is the finest in their population report.
