Stack’s Bowers Galleries will be presenting Circulation Strike Half Cents from
the ESM Collection in our official auction of the Whitman Coin &
Collectibles Spring Expo? We have already featured the
outstanding collections of Flying Eagle, Indian and Lincoln cents from the
extraordinary ESM Registry Set Collection of coppers. Our clients have come to
expect great things from the ESM Collection.
The half cents deliver on that expectation,
beginning with a lovely Mint State example of the 1793, both types of the very
rare 1796, and every date and major variety from the beginning of the series
through 1857. This series offers something for everyone, from great rarities to
more affordable common dates of the 1850s. But throughout, the quality of the
half cents in the ESM Collection is outstanding. This promises to be another highlight from this landmark
collection, and a focal point of our March Baltimore auction, which will take
place March 18-20, 2020.
