We are
knee deep in our busiest and most exciting time of the year for World paper money.
We have just wrapped up a very successful Hong Kong auction at the Mira Hotel,
and are putting the final touches on our May Collectors Choice Sale. This
online auction, closing live on May 16, will offer plenty of exciting certified
material that has been in private hands for quite some time. Included are a few
Serial Number 3 notes and a Serial Number 1 note from Belgium, a scarce early
Cuba piece, and other treasures.
We are
currently accepting consignments for our August ANA World’s Fair of Money sale
being held in Philadelphia, which already promises be a great auction. That
same venue will also host our Eldorado Part 2 sale. Additionally, we are
preparing for a very exciting Hong Kong sale in August.
Our May
sale will be available online in a few weeks. It will be a great opportunity
for collectors to fill gaps in their collections and pick up items at a very
fair price. We anticipate quite a lot of spiriting bidding, so we recommend
keeping an eye open for when the lots are available for bidding to hold your
place in the book. The lots will have values ranging from $100, to four figures.
