Chicago
is a city known for many things such as deep dish pizza, sports teams, art,
culture and also being a jazz mecca.
What many may not have known is the non-profit foundation History in
Your Hands (HINYHF) is putting on the first annual Chicago Coin Expo (CCE) April
5-8, 2017, in the beautiful and historic Chicago Cultural Center in
downtown. The History in Your Hands
Foundation works with educators to bring historical objects to the classroom to
increase understanding and appreciation of the past. The show will be open from
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM April 6, 7 and 8 and is free to the public. Many top
dealers from around the country and the world will be in attendance including
Stack’s Bowers.
Event
highlights include lectures by Dr. Ute Wartenberg Kagan and Professor Robert
Wallace between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Friday April 7. Come visit Stack’s Bowers at Table #23 in the
Preston Bradley Hall to peruse our diverse inventory of world and ancient coins.
Representatives Kyle Ponterio and Amandeep Jassal will be there, ready to help
you with your collecting needs. We are excited and proud to be a part of this
